Created multiple accounts by mistake?
Don't worry — just use the email address where you received your friend's invitation.

2 Accept Your Friend's Invitation

Your friend has shared their movie and TV library with you. You need to accept this invitation to see their content.

📧 Check Your Email

Look for an email from Plex ([email protected]) with the subject line about an invitation to a Plex Media Server.

Open the email from Plex on your phone or computer

Click the "ACCEPT INVITATION" button in the email

Sign in with the Plex account you just created (if asked)

Success! The shared library is now connected to your account

"Invitation not found" error?
Make sure you're signed into Plex with the same email address that received the invitation.

Can't find the invitation email?
Ask your friend to resend it from their Plex server settings, or check if they sent it to a different email address.

Button doesn't work?
Try copying the link address and pasting it into your browser manually.

Important: Ignore the "Discover" section — that's just free content from Plex

On mobile: Tap "More" at the bottom, then look for your friend's server name

On TV/Web: Look in the left sidebar for your friend's server name
